The Faculty of Applied Social Research of the University of Nova Gorica to Hold a Student Workshop on Media Literacy

On Thursday, 21 March 2019, at 04:00 p.m., the Media Literacy Workshop for Students: Youth and Media Culture will take place at the Faculty of Applied Social Research (Nova Gorica, Gregorčičeva, 19). The event will be held as part of the European Media Literacy Week initiated by the European Commission.

The purpose of the workshop is to increase the level of awareness of young people about the importance of media literacy and their competences in this field.

The workshop is aimed at discussing and critically analysing the influence of the habits and culture of digital media consumption on the behaviour, way of thinking, norms and values of modern youth. The target audience of the workshop includes students, as well as the general public.
