The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Slovenia Allocates over Three Million Euros for the Development of Sport Infrastructure

The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Slovenia has allocated € 3,205,000 for the investment in sport infrastructure in 2019. The corresponding tender was announced on 22 March 2019.

The tender consists of three blocks. Municipalities may apply for co-financing of investment in the enhancement of lighting of open sport facilities belonging to their ownership.

Participation in the co-financing of investment in the construction of new sport facilities is available for municipalities-investors that own land plots for construction.

The co-financing of the Olympic sport centre modernisation can be performed by the national sport industry federations, which are in possession of the relevant training centres.

The tender is held in the framework of the National Programme for the Development of Sport for 2014–2023.
