A Lecturer from the University of Maribor Receives the World’s Highest Award in the Theory of Systems and Cybernetics

Dr Matjaž Mulej, Emeritus Professor of Economics at the University of Maribor (Faculty of Economics and Business), received the world’s highest award for outstanding achievements in the Theory of Systems and Cybernetics – the 12th WOSC Medal (World Organization of Systems and Cybernetics, United Kingdom) named after the founder of Cybernetics Norbert Wiener.

Matjaž Mulej is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, the author of almost 2,500 works published in 50 countries including 70 books and collections (as a rule, in collaboration with other authors), and the author of the Dialectical Theory of Systems. It should be noted that over 1,000 people from all continents acted as co-authors of research papers written by Matjaž Mulej.
