On Thursday, 28 June 2018, the students of the Master’s degree programmes of the DOBA Faculty visited a lecture by Master Janez Žezlina, an employee of ECG d.o.o. The lecture was devoted to changes in the corporate culture within Slovenian companies (a case study).
Based on his more than 20 years of experience in the field of business consulting, the lecturer presented to the audience several successful examples of business personnel transformations in Slovenian companies in terms of changing the corporate culture by means of introducing various personnel systems and tools. In particular, it is a system of remuneration and key indicators; the introduction of a culture of mentoring within a company; the introduction of a culture of coaching; a culture of empowerment among employees, etc.
During the lecture, the participants were presented with examples of good practice and the conditions necessary for the successful implementation of personnel systems and tools, as well as attendant human resource risks and dilemmas. At the end of the lecture, the representative of the company and the students discussed the above topic.
