A Student of the University of Maribor Wins the Student Article Contest at the ERK 2019 Conference

At the end of September 2019, the 28th ERK 2019 Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science was held in Portorož. Within the framework of the conference, a student article contest was held.

According to the results of the contest, Kristjan Stopar, a student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics of the University of Maribor, won first place and received the right to speak at the 8th Regije Student Research Competition, which unites specialists in electrical engineering, computer science and informatics from Europe, Africa and Asia.

It should be added that Kristjan Stopar, together with two students, Pio Žnidaršič and Urbanom Košale, had previously developed a visual-kinaesthetic navigation device for the blind and visually impaired people.
