A Winter School Enrols Students to Develop Online Solutions Based on the Angular 2 Framework

On 20–22 February 2019, the Winter School will be held in Žalec. Classes will be dedicated to the development of online solutions based on the Angular 2 framework. The event is organised by the Institute of Informatics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics of the University of Maribor and the Savinja Žalec Centre for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies.

Classes will be held at the specified centre. During the Winter School, students will become familiar with the Node.JS environment, the Express framework and the MongoDB nosql database.

Applications are accepted until Thursday, 14 February 2019. The details (schedule, venue and list of selected candidates) will be published on Friday, 15 February 2019.

Since the number of seats is limited, the organisers reserve the right to select candidates. They are required to know the basic web technologies: HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.

It should be added that Angular is one of the most popular frameworks for developing unilateral web applications. It is based on the recognised best practices, including innovations such as TypeSpript, and allows for a quick and easy development of complex online solutions. In combination with other development and implementation environments – Node.JS, Express and MongoDB – it forms a full stack for developing web applications.
