Anže Semenič Wins the World Cup’s Stage in Ski Jumping

Anže Semenič became the first at one of the World Cup stages in ski jumping held in Zakopane (Poland). He shared the victory lap with his compatriot Peter Prevc, who took the third place. In the team standings, the Slovenian team took the sixth place.

This is the second victory of the season for the Slovenian national team (after Jernej Damjan’s triumph in Rukatunturi, Finland), while less than two weeks are left before the start of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

On the eve of the Olympics, Slovenian ski jumpers are waiting for two more competitions. In particular, the stage of the World Cup in Willingen, in which Jelar and Nejc Dežman will participate.
