Applications Are Accepted for Participation in the Tenth International Spaghetti Bridge Construction Competition – Ali Je Kaj Trden Most 2019
The process of applying for participation in the Tenth International Spaghetti Bridge Construction Competition – Ali Je Kaj Trden Most 2019, which will be held on 6–8 May 2019 in the Borut Pečenko auditorium (Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation and Architecture of the University of Maribor), has started.
The main prizes of the competition: 1st place – 1,000 EUR, 2nd place – 600 EUR, 3rd place – 300 EUR; prize for the best design – 300 EUR.
The traditional annual international competition will be held for the tenth year in a row. It involves teams of pupils and students of the Civil Engineering, Architecture and other industry related study programmes. The competition involves up to 30 teams, each team includes 3 students from the same department.
The competition enjoys a positive reputation and brings together the best students from Slovenia and other European countries. The popularity of the competition abroad is growing from year to year, as evidenced by the increasing participation of teams from foreign universities. Over the years, teams from Austria, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, Romania, Turkey and Egypt took part in the competition.
The competition is also an excellent opportunity for students to find new friends, to gain new experience and knowledge.
Applications in electronic form are accepted until 31 March 2019.
