Well written notes are crucial in the process of learning. However, we all learn in our own way, and some variants of notes are more preferable than others.

The fact is that the human brain has three communication centres — visual, auditory and kinaesthetic, or emotional and dynamic. The interaction of these centres in the human brain determines the nature of communication. We receive information from the environment through these channels. We transmit messages through them.
Studies have shown that 35% of people belong to the visual type, 25% – to the auditory type, and 40% – to the kinaesthetic type. As a rule, we combine all three types, while one of them is more pronounced.
People of visual type prefer to make an order in their rooms before start learning. It is easier for such people to memorize material if it is displayed in the form of images and symbols. Oral tasks are more difficult for them. They have a beautiful handwriting and they themselves look neat. They often know what they want to say, but it’s not easy for them to find the right words. They also forget to transmit verbal messages. They often pay attention to the details, rather than to the general picture.
Tip: When studying, use coloured pens, thinking patterns, sketches and graphics. Try to graphically display the material and thus memorize it.
Students of this type, as a rule, often talk to themselves. They have difficulty with writing assignments and like when other people read something to them. It is easier for them to memorize study materials step by step, in a certain order. They love music and all kinds of listening exercises. When listening to music, they sing or just chant a melody, and also move their lips when reading, or do whispering.
Tip: Be sure to read out loud the material that you need to learn and then repeat it again in your own words. Draw up a note in a certain semantic sequence, because in this way it is easier for you to remember the essence. The material can be read out loud with simultaneous recording of your voice, and then you can listen to the recording.
People related to the emotional and dynamic type solve problems practically. When talking, they actively use gestures, and may also unobtrusively touch other people. While studying, they walk or do something in parallel, because it is easier for them to memorize material like that.
Tip: Be active while studying. Walk, develop hand skills, memorize the sequence of materials with your fingers, create! You can also achieve good results by using different thinking patterns or maps.
