When looking into details about enrolling and further schooling in Slovenia, we can provide a whole list of advantages.
The first of many benefits, that make student life easier and better, is that there are studies at all the state faculties and colleges in Slovenia, which offer study programes for affordable price. What about living costs? Slovenia in general is very affordable country to live in.
The opportunity to enroll at higher education institutions in Slovenia, in most cases, does not mean the candidate has to take preliminary examination (although, as a rule, it is necessary to pass the preliminary examination when enrolling in programs of studying fine art, architecture, dentistry, sports). Faculties also do not require the candidates to take a test of knowledge of the language. This means that the future student (and their loved ones) is free of the burden of worries that come with this and that is quite redundant.
After enrolling at a faculty, the students get a residence permit based on their studies and this enables them more mobility inside the Schengen Area. As a capital and the largest city in Slovenia, Ljubljana is well connected with all European destinations and it represents a good starting point for a future student adventure.

As opposed to most countries in the EU, students in Slovenia can work legally via agencies called Student service. The money earned can easily cover all the costs of student living. For many students this is their first work experience in the EU.
Slovenia, being a welfare state, provides food subsidy for its students. This means that for a price of only a few euros students can eat in some of the best restaurants, or, when in a hurry, have a snack in one of the many fast food restaurant chains.
All the students also have access to international student exchange programs. The best known such program is Erasmus+. In the pursuit of internationalization of its institutions, more and more study programs in Slovene faculties are available in English.
