In the 2018/2019 academic year, students of the DOBA Faculty can study in foreign institutions of higher education and do practical training in foreign companies that have signed a relevant agreement as part of the Erasmus programme.
The scholarship ranges from 370 to 520 EUR per month depending on the country of studying. Students choose the company and the country themselves, as well as determine the duration of their training period, which can only be held in EU countries, as well as in Macedonia, Turkey, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. In addition to scholarships, placement students also receive extra 100 EUR per month.
Besides obtaining new professional knowledge, studying or practicing abroad allow students to:
- develop and advance language skills;
- achieve personal goals and socialize outside of Slovenia;
- understand the economic and social culture of a particular country;
- increase self-awareness;
- strengthen intercultural competencies.
