Cuisine of Slovenia’s Regions: Omelette with White Elderberry
Ingredients for 1 portion
- 2 eggs,
- a pinch of salt,
- 1–2 sprigs of white elderberry,
- vegetable oil.
Whisk eggs with a pinch of salt in a deep dish. Wash and clean the elderberry sprigs and add flowers to the egg mixture. Put a frying pan on a medium heat and pour a little vegetable oil. Then pour the egg mixture with elderberry into the pan and wait until the omelette is slightly fried. Then cut it with a spatula, mix and roast until cooked. Serve hot (optionally, with bread and yogurt to taste).
