4D and 5D Modelling

The workshop on 4D and 5D BIM modelling is designed for all participants who want to gain knowledge in the field of BIM technology (Building Information Modelling).

Demonstration of software, practical examples and final works in BIM by students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transport and Architecture.

Analysis of the Object Natural Illumination

Sufficient natural illumination of living spaces influences the well-being, mood and productivity of work. Therefore, the arrangement of window openings and the lighting mode are the key factors in the design of high-quality residential premises.

During the workshop, the illumination of room will be measured. Demonstrating the use of a software product, with the help of which, using the example of a small residential building, the process of analysing the natural illumination of rooms and optimizing the location of window openings will be shown.

Transport and Mobility of “Smart” Cities of the Future

Preparation of integrated transport strategies, use of new methods of driving and smart cameras, electric vehicles. Modern trends will make it possible to realize the concept of a “smart” city of the future.

After the introductory presentation, a simulation of traffic in Maribor will be shown at different times of the day. Besides, the issues of transport of the future—autonomous cars—will be discussed.
