Festival of Club Music MENT Ljubljana

The largest festival of electronic music in Central Europe MENT Ljubljana will take place in Ljubljana from 31 January to 2 February. In parallel, the similarly named conference will be held.

The event will feature the latest trends in music creativity in Europe and beyond. The festival will take place in 13 cultural centres of the city: Kino Šiška, M Hotel, GalaHala, Channel Zero, Menza pri koritu, Klub Gromka, Orto Bar, Stara mestna elektrarna, Kinoteka, Klub K4, DobraVaga, the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum and the Kapelica Gallery.

During the festival, Ljubljana will become the regional centre for electronic music. On 31 January, the festival will be opened by the concerts of such bands as Young Fathers, Algiers, Glintshake, Neomi and Nesesari Kakalulu in Kino Šiška. Fran Palermo, Avoid Dave, Sheep Got Waxed, 5K HD, MORT, Threesome and many others will perform on Thursday. Among Slovenian participants, it is worth mentioning Natriletno kolobarjenje s praho, FFX, Futurski and one of the most famous Slovenian rock bands Elvis Jackson, which this year celebrates the 20th anniversary of its creative work. The Friday musical evening will be marked with the performances of the Vakula Band (Ukraine) and local bands Soter Amun, Levanael, Lara, Lavka, YGT and Koloah. The festival will also feature producers and DJs Borka, FLO and Whynnel, as well as the experimental band Kikimore.

In 2017, the festival hosted more than 3,400 visitors and more than 400 invited musicians.

Early bird price (before 30 January) is 35 EUR.

Price during the event (from 31 January to 2 February): 39 EUR.

A single subscription to the festival and conference costs 69 EUR (an early bird offer until 30 January) and 79 EUR (price during the event).
