Goran Dragić to Take Part in the NBA All-Star Game

The native of Ljubljana, 31-year-old basketball player Goran Dragić, the best player of the NBA League Club Miami Heat became the first Slovenian to take part in the NBA All-Star Game. The event will be held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on 19 February 2018.

The NBA League Commissioner Adam Silver took a decision on the admission of the Slovenian basketball player to the All-Star Game.

The shooting guard Goran Dragić will replace injured Kevin Lov. In the All-Star Game, he will be accompanied by Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, LaMarcus Aldridge, Bradley Beal, Paul George, Andre Drummond, Russell Westbrook, Victor Oladipo and Kristaps Porzingis.

Goran Dragić’s club Miami Heat (for which he has been playing since 2014 after a transfer from Phoenix) takes the fourth place in the regular season.
