Gorazd Meško Is the President of the European Society of Criminology (ESC)

Prof. Gorazd Meško, a teacher at the Faculty of Criminology of the University of Maribor, was elected as the president of the European Society of Criminology (ESC) during the ESC’s annual conference in Münster (Germany). He will lead the Society for the next three years.

His colleagues at the Max Planck mreža “Balkan criminology network” put him forward for the presidential position. Since 2004, Prof. Dr. Gorazd Meško has been also the head of the ESC working group on the European university programmes in criminology and a member of the ISC group of experts on criminology programs.
