Income of the Slovenian Company Skaza Grows by 13%

In 2016, the Slovenian company Skaza received 35.2 million euros of revenues, which is 13% higher than in 2015, and the Company’s investments in infrastructure, office and industrial premises exceeded 5 million euros. Skaza employs 320 people, and this year plans to open additional 30 job positions in the field of ICT, development and technology. Skaza is an export-oriented company and works with multinational corporations that operate in the automotive industry, the furniture industry, the electrical industry and in the production of household appliances.

Business reputation of the Company is confirmed by the recommendations of international partners. For the last several years, Skaza has been working to improve its own brand status. As part of this operation, a series of products for home, garden and outdoor recreation was launched. A composter Bokashi Organico for processing food and plant wastes is the best seller.

The Company increases its expenses for staff development. In 2016, the average salary of personnel increased by more than 170 euros. As noted in Skaza, the production process is almost fully automated and is largely based on advanced digital technologies. This year, it is planned to spend the lion’s share of investment on the digitization of workflows. Skaza strives to be “among the leaders on its way to creating a smart plant driven by the technology of the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0)”. The company is actively engaged in dealing with recycled materials. Now the recycled plastic makes about 30% of raw materials for production, and it is planned that the figure will increase up to 50% by 2020.

In 2017, Skaza plans to increase its revenues up to 38 million euros and create new innovative and advanced products. The Company is proud of the fact that for over 40 years of its activity, it “has not lost any of B2B (Business to Business) partners”, which indicates a high level of confidence in the Company.
