Maribor University Graduates Cooperate with Local Companies

Senior students and graduates of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Maribor have no reason to worry about employment after their graduation. Such companies as Eforma d.o.o. and Štajerski Inženiring d.o.o provide work for the students. According to the company representatives, the volume of work grows and thus, the need to strengthen the staff reserve appears.

Eforma d.o.o. is an innovative regional construction company that connects contractors with investors. It cooperates with colleagues from Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia (in total, with more than 17 thousand enterprises). It employs architects, IT professionals and builders, who combine the spheres of construction and IT technology through personal best practices.

The company opens vacancies for temporary (2–3 months) and permanent employment. It employs motivated people who are ready to perform everyday tasks and develop innovative solutions on the platform.

Štajerski Inženiring d.o.o. attracts students of civil engineering programmes with good knowledge of Autocad and Microsoft Office. They are involved in the design of infrastructure projects (reconstruction of roads, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, etc.), improvement of public places (municipal facilities, highways, crossroads, etc.) and preparation of various project documentation.

The company employs students for 2–3 months with a possibility of extension based on recommendations provided by the Student Service. The start of work is planned for the beginning of February. Students are required to possess a strong motivation to work, flexibility and a desire to learn.
