Maribor University Student Project Wins the Days of Slovenian Informatics 2017 Conference

The Maribor University Computer Science Faculty student project “Smart Home Assistant” won the national conference Days of Slovenian Informatics 2017 in Portorož. The authors of the project are Nejc Vidrih and Patrik Ahej who study at the master’s program “Computer Science and Communication Technologies”. They received the “Best Student Project” prestigious award.

The students presented prototypes of MVT devices (measuring voltage transformer) and additional services for automated and remote control within the “smart home” system. The students also received a cash prize of 500 EUR from the SmartIS Company.
