Meeting with the Representatives of Retail Chains in Italy: Announcement
The Regional Chamber of Commerce Sežana and the Slovenian Regional Economic Association in collaboration with the Spirit Slovenija Agency invite all those interested in promoting their products to the Italian market at a meeting with the representatives of the most prominent Italian retail chains in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige. These regions with a total population of 11.5 million people with a part of Emilia-Romagna are related to the Eastern Italy.
The meeting will be held on 9 November 2016 at the premises of OOZ Sežana. Start at 9:30 a.m.
The event is intended for the manufacturers of food products: meat, cheese and other dairy products, honey, condiments, homemade wines, juices, jams, and teas.
The program will start with a lecture on the Italian market, the marketing and the correct presentation of products in retail outlets. Later all participants will be able to hold personal talks with representatives of the well-known retailers.
The meeting will be attended by:
- COOP: about 400 outlets
- SMA-AUCHAN: 276 outlets
- VEGA: 310 outlets
- DESPAR: 546 outlets
- CONAD: 200 outlets
- PAM: 25 outlets
- FAMILA: 60 outlets
The MEETING IDEA 3 Company has already gained a certain experience in successful cooperation with the COOP retail chain. Currently it has managed to supply the stores of this network with the products manufactured by Mlekarna Celeia, Medex, Intermac, Mlinotest, Pekarna Pečjak, Planika, Celjska Mesnina, Avokado, Olje Lisjak, and Bimed.
The IDEA 3 Company plans to provide the most detailed information about the Italian market and to consult on successful integration thereinto. The Italian standards (hygiene standards, UVAC, etc.), terminology and technical passports will be presented.
The event will be held in Italian with a translation into the Slovenian language.
