Multi-child Families from the Vladimir Region of the Russian Federation to Rest in Slovenia

Multi-child families and low-income families of the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation will visit the Republic of Slovenia for recreational purposes. As reported by the Department of Social Protection of the Vladimir Regional Administration, the first group of 134 people (48 parents and 86 children) went to the Balkan Peninsula on 18 May 2018. In total, 720 people will go to Slovenia this year, including 450 children.

The Department clarified that the idea of Russian families traveling for the purpose of health improvement to a European country belongs to the governor Svetlana Orlova and has been being implemented for the sixth consecutive year.

Families of the Vladimir region will rest in the largest natural resort of Terme Čatež and in Koper near the Adriatic Sea. Leisure time will include creative competitions, sports and entertainment events, excursions with visits to historical monuments and picturesque places of Slovenia. Parents and children will be able to do physical exercises, water gymnastics, aqua aerobics and games in thermal water parks.

The wellness campaign will last until November.
