About the programme
The syllabus has a distinct interdisciplinary and research character. It covers all the major fields of management and economics, as well as technology and engineering, information sciences and environmental sciences.
The programme consists of:
- – required subjects (Economy for Engineers, Introduction to Modern Technological Systems, Company Strategic Management, Selected topics from information sciences),
- – compulsory elective subjects (Automatic Control Systems, Contemporary Measurement Techniques, Robotics, Decision Support Models and Systems, Resource and Process modelling, Open Source Information Systems),
- – elective subjects (Data mining, knowledge Management, Business English, etc.),
- – group and individual projects.
The study course is organised as a series of short intensive courses, seminars and laboratory exercises. Teaching language is Slovene or English for specific courses in the case that sufficient number of English speaking students is enrolled to the course.
The study is based on a system that defines the required number of credit points for each degree and leaves the choice of the subjects mostly to student and his/her mentor.
Master’s degree candidates must complete the following study requirements: all required exams, projects´ work, and successful defence of the master’s thesis.
