About the programme
Main programme components of the study programme and study requirements:
The study includes organised study work that is lectures, practical work, laboratory practice and other study forms carried out by higher education teachers and mentors. Students’ independent work is an important component of the programme including the study of literature, production of seminar and project works, participation in research, preparation of presentations and their performance, preparation and examination of knowledge, writing of the graduate thesis.
Some of the compulsive subjects: media and communication, foreign language in media, media technology and information science, photography and computer graphics, economics and organisation, management and organisation of media production, digital authoring, introduction to Media Law, methodology of research in social sciences, entrepreneurship and more.
Some of the elective subjects: contemporary political doctrines, organisational communication, recent history, European integrations, evaluation methods and more.
The whole programme includes 2,100 hours of organised forms of study and 3,300 hours of individual forms of work, which amounts to 5,400 hours of student workload. The annual workload per student is 1,800 hours.
