Pršjača – Cheese Pie from Yeast Dough



  1. 50 dkg flour
  2. 1 egg
  3. 10 dkg cheese, cracklings or seeds (to taste)
  4. 2 dL water
  5. 1 dL milk
  6. ½ yeast packaging
  7. a pinch of salt



  1. Add yeast, flour and a pinch of salt into the heated milk.
  2. Mix milk, water and yeast. Leave for 20 minutes until the dough rises.
  3. Put the dough on a kitchen board and form a circle with a diameter of 20 cm and a thickness of 1.5 cm. Cover with beaten egg.
  4. Sprinkle the dough with grated cheese. Bake in the oven at 200 °C for 20 minutes. Serve warm.
