Starting from 31 July 2018, submission of applications for the Tenth National Investment Banking Contest NIBC will start. Students of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes take part in the contest.
NIBC is the world’s largest contest in investment banking supported by the academic community and many international banks. It was founded in 2009 by a team of specialists to provide students from all over the world with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of banking and share their ideas with leading players of the industrial sector.
The NIBC Contest features as follows:
- over 1,600 participants from 100 educational institutions, including Wharton, Stanford, Yale University, Western, Queens, McGill, Oxford, Cambridge and the University of Hong Kong;
- case studies prepared by investment banking specialists on the basis of current projects, which were implemented by the leaders of American and Canadian banks;
- access to obsolete examples, models and proposals aimed at improving the quality and status of the competition;
- cooperation with key representatives of the sponsoring banks (JP Morgan, Vice President for Investment Banking and RBC’s Global Director for Investment Banking in Capital Markets).
The first stage of the contest will be held in autumn 2018. The final stage will be held in spring 2019.
Teams (2–4 people) registered before 15 August 2018 will receive a 15 percent discount for registration. The registration fee is 140 EUR per team. By the time of registration, team members must have the current status of a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree student.
