The University of Maribor has offered 4,576 places in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes for the 2018/2019 academic year, including 3,776 places for intramural studies and 800 places for extramural studies. This was reported on 14 July 2018 by the Registration and Information Service of the University of Maribor.
According to the information released, during the first round of the university admission process, 3,053 applications were received from citizens of Slovenia and EU countries, of which 2,580 applicants were enrolled. The ratio of those enrolled for studying at the University of Maribor, taking into account the total number of applications, makes 84.5%.
The decision to limit the number of licensed places this year relates to 13 study programmes. More detailed information on the number of enrolled applicants and the amount of points required for admission is available on the website.
The second round of the university admission process will be held from 22 to 29 August 2018. During the second round, vacant places can be occupied by the applicants, who did not manage to apply at the first round or were not enrolled to any of the study programmes specified in their first applications, as well as candidates who entered one of the provided study programmes, but refused to study or were discharged from it before 17 August 2018, inclusive.
The decision on the results of the second round of the admission campaign will be sent to applicants by mail before 24 September 2018.
