Scholarships for Students and Young Scientists
The Utrecht Network of research universities will allocate up to 10 scholarships in the amount of 1,000 euros to students and young scientists who do not receive financial support from other programs, for example Erasmus+, due to the short-term conditions of the mobility program. The scholarship is intended to encourage research in writing master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation. Students can choose a mobility programme in one of the universities included into the Utrecht Network. The mobility program can last from one to six months. The deadline for participation in the mobility program and the acquisition of the right to a scholarship lasts from 1 April 2017 to 31 August 2018.
Applications must include:
- a completed application form,
- a motivation letter in English,
- a reference letter in English, and
- a certificate of admission to a research project (which should be issued by a teacher or a host university).
Students or young researchers must submit their application to the International Cooperation Department at the following address: UL, Congress Square 12, 1000 Ljubljana until 10 February 2017.
The University of Ljubljana can nominate for a scholarship of up to three students, and the Utrecht Network will perform the final selection of candidates.
