Slovene Ema Kozin Is Announced to Be the Most Promising Young Boxer in the World

The WBU Boxing Association announced the Slovenian boxer Ema Kozin, the youngest world champion in two weight categories, to be the world’s best and most promising young boxer. This was reported by the STA Agency with reference to the athlete’s coaching staff.

This award is the result of the work of her entire team for the last 13 months. During this period, Ema Kozin won five world champion titles and one WBC intercontinental champion title.

She won the last and most important title in Germany on 14 October 2018, where, in a re-fight, she defeated Mexican Irais Hernandez and received the WIBA world champion belt in the second weight category.

Currently, Ema Kozin is undergoing training before the new fight, which will take place in Ljubljana at the end of March 2019.
