Slovenia Became a Member of the Finabel Land Forces Association
Finabel is a centre for interoperability and think tank activities of the land forces of the EU Member States.
Ljubljana. After several years of observer status, Slovenia together with its land forces became a full member of the Finabel Land Forces Association during the meeting held by the Association. As reported by the Slovenia’s Armed Forces administration, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Slovenia, Major General Alan Geder, signed the regulatory document on Slovenia’s accession to the Association.
Slovenia became the 21th member of the Association. Now, the observer status belongs to Croatia.
The original purpose of the Finabel Association was to harmonize the doctrine of land forces. Today, it acts as a centre for interoperability and think tank activities of the land forces of the EU Member States, as noted on the Slovenian Armed Forces website.
