Slovenia Enters the Quarterfinals of the European Table Tennis Championships

The Slovenia national team outplayed the current titleholder—the national team of Austria (3:2) in Luxembourg. The team took the second place in B Group.

Bojan Tokić brought two points to Slovenia. Darko Jorgić also demonstrated excellent skills, which ensured the final victory of his team.

The Slovenians were impressive already in the yesterday’s first match. Being at a disadvantage during the game with Slovaks (0:2), they managed to win back and gain the victory. Jan Žibrat played the first. At the position of the third player, he replaced Deni Kožul and in a dramatic duel beat Peter Šeredo.

In the second duel, Tokić first defeated Gardos and then Stefan Fegerl.
