Slovenia Is Second in the EU in Terms of Industrial Production Growth
At the average annual level, industrial production in the European Union grew by 3.6%, while Slovenia showed the second highest result among the EU countries. This is evidenced by the data of Eurostat.
Industrial production in the Eurozone in September 2017, as compared to August 2017, decreased by 0.6%, and around the entire EU—by 0.5%.
At the average annual level, industrial production in the Eurozone in September this year increased by 3.3%. At the average monthly level, in August, industrial production in the Eurozone increased by 1.4%, and in the EU—by 1.7%.
In September, industrial production in Slovenia increased by 1.3% at the average monthly level. As compared to September 2016, it increased by 8.6%. This is the second highest result among the EU countries (after Latvia with 12.9% of growth).
