Slovenia National Team Wins 6 Medals at the World Bowling Championships

Davor Janžič, Jure Kozjek, and Anže Petrič brought gold to the country. Dejan Tonejc also took silver in a full circle competition at the World Bowling Championships held in Casablanca (Morocco).

Janžič won gold in the “strike” category and later, together with Jure Kozjek, he became the best in doubles. Petrič received a medal for the best result in the “speed” category.

On his way to the championships, Davor Janžič overcame three of his rivals from Croatia, Peru and Montenegro. Petrič defeated the favourite of the tournament – Croat Leo Brnić – in overtime with a score of 22:21.

Besides, the national team of Slovenia got two bronze medals.
