Slovenia to Allocate a Grant of 900 Thousand Euros for the Implementation of a Drinking Water Project

It is planned that the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Agency for International Development and Cooperation will allocate a grant of 900 thousand euros to the city of Kramatorsk (Ukraine). This amounts to 30% of the cost of technological equipment and works for the implementation of the drinking water project.

Kramatorsk fought for the opportunity to participate in the World Bank project aimed at improving the quality of drinking water, reducing losses and energy efficiency in the water sector. According to the results of the tender, the Slovenian company Esotech was declared the winner.

The aim of the project is to reconstruct the water treatment facilities and to introduce the new technologies for the purification of drinking water.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Slovenia Aleš Cantarutti paid a visit to the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, Hennadii Zubko, during which the signing of the cooperation contract with Esoteh was confirmed.
