Donat Mg Mineral Water for Tasting
In Moscow, specialized agencies and operators under the auspices of the Slovenian Tourist Board (STB) represent the Slovenian tourist sites. Presentations are held in the framework of the two-year project of advertising medicinal mineral waters and tourist promotion of Slovenian health resorts, as reported in STB.
Photos of the Rogaška Park and the Terme Olimia thermal spa resort at the Slovenian booth represent Slovenia as the area of healing mineral waters. At the same time, all booth visitors could try Donat Mg mineral water.
On the second day of the exhibition, the Embassy of Slovenia in Russia will hold an official reception attended by media representatives and Slovenian tour operators. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia in the Russian Federation Primož Šeligo will speak to the guests and the STB representatives will presented novelties of the Slovenian tourist offer.
The Revival of Russian Market
The Russian market is one of the key European markets for Slovenian tourist industry. In January 2017, a positive trend in the number of arrivals and overnight stays of Russian tourists in Slovenia was recorded. The number of arrivals at the annual level increased by 21% and overnight stays—by 24%.
The STB Director Maja Pak stresses that the number of tourists from Russia that choose Slovenia as a tourist destination is constantly growing. This is affected by the country’s reputation as a sporting, green and modern territory, where each tourist can count on high quality service and individual approach.
Assistant Director of the Rogaška Resort Company Damijan Merc notes that attendance by tourists in Slovenia is dependent on fluctuations in exchange rates and oil prices. Moreover, a very favourable situation has been currently formed for the Rogaška Slatina resort and the whole country in general.
