Spirit Agency and the Municipality of Ljubljana Present Seven Major Infrastructure Projects in Cannes
The international real estate exhibition is launched in Cannes (France), where the Spirit Agency and the Municipality of Ljubljana will present 7 major infrastructure projects to the potential investors, the total cost of which is estimated at 581 million euros.
Over the past 10 years, Ljubljana has successfully implemented more than 1,700 projects aimed at improving life in the capital, as the Spirit Agency states in its presentation materials that will be presented to prospective investors into Ljubljana infrastructure.
Today, investors will see presentations of Emonika Centre, Tobačna Mesto, a business centre and residential complex Šumi, a business centre Žitna Vrata, a geriatric home Geriatrični Centre (a rest home for the elderly), a residential complex Kamna Gorica and a shopping centre Stolp Stožice.
Emonika Centre Is the Largest Project
The Trigrani Company had to construct a shopping and entertainment centre Emonika in Ljubljana, but it was forced to abandon the project. Now the developer in the face of the Slovenske Železnice Company is looking for a long-term investor. The project cost is 250 million euros. Completion is scheduled for 2020.
Among the major infrastructure projects that will require additional investments in Ljubljana, the following can be highlighted: Tobačna Mesto (26.5 million euros), a business centre and residential complex Šumi estimated at 34.5 million euros, as well as a business centre Žitna Vrata. Until 2020, it is planned to erect hotels, an apartment complex, restaurants, shops, and even museums near the Šmartinska Road on a land plot with the area of 95,500 square meters. The Žito Company is the author of the project in the international real estate exhibition in Cannes. The budget is estimated at 150 million euros.
In Three Years, Another Apartment Complex Will Appear in Ljubljana
Until 2019, the municipal authorities of Ljubljana are planning to build a geriatric home “Geriatrični Centre” (a rest home for the elderly) in the Kranjčeva Street. The construction cost is 25 million euros. It is planned to build a shelter, a nursing home and a medical rehabilitation centre with gym on a plot of land within the area of theUniversity Rehabilitation Centre Soča. Constriction of a residential complex with office premises is planned on a plot of 25,400 square meters in the Pilonova Street in Ljubljana. The project will cost 50 million euros, and its author is a bank debt management company (DUTB). It is planned to complete construction until 2020.
Before 2020, it is also planned to build a skyscraper, a shopping centre and sports complex, a hotel and office premises within the area of the Stožice sports palace. The project will cost 45 million euros. The Rastoder Company is the author of the project.
The total cost of all projects to be implemented in three years amounts to 581 million euros.
