Standard & Poor’s Agency Upgrades the Slovenia’s Credit Rating from A to A+
The Standard & Poor’s Agency raised the Slovenia’s Credit Rating to the next level from A to A+.
High domestic demand and export growth mean an increase in production and recovery of the financial sector. This, according to analysts of the credit agency, will gradually improve the terms of lending, and will as well promote further investment in Slovenia and the growth of its economy.
Optimistic forecasts by S & P indicate good growth rates and early debt reduction, while, on the other hand, they do not deny a number of unfavourable factors, in particular, the potential slowdown of reforms and privatization, as well as an increase in the budget deficit.
The Ministry of Finance reports that an improved assessment is an additional confirmation on that the course chosen by Slovenia is correct.
