Students of Various Study Programmes Are Invited to Participate in the EIT Food RIS Solutions Project
The European EIT Food Knowledge and Innovation Community invites teams of students from various Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD study programmes to take part in the EIT Food RIS Solutions project. The teams will solve the tasks defined by the food companies who are the project partners.
Under the terms of the project, students should create a team of four people and record a video, in which they briefly describe ideas for solving the problems of the agri-food industry. The application deadline (with video) is Monday, 15 July 2019.
After watching videos, the commission will select 25 teams to participate in a 3-month coaching programme to develop ideas and solutions. During this time, participants will be able to consult with international experts and teachers, take a course in intellectual property and develop a business plan, and also learn guidelines for effective presentation of their ideas and products.
At the end of the coaching period, teams will prepare a detailed presentation of the results. Based on the presentations, the work of the teams will be re-evaluated by the expert committee. The top 20 teams will receive invitations to the Food Marathons – Foodhatons event, which will be held in November 2019 in Italy and Poland.
