Summer Training Camp for Innovative Technologies at the University of Ljubljana

Do you believe that studying electrical engineering and modern technologies can be both informative and fascinating?

Every summer, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana holds Summer Camp for Innovative Technologies (Poletni tabor inovativnih tehnologij). During one week, its participants create themselves products, which prove useful at home, at school, or at a party with friends. Besides informative and fascinating thematic sections, the participants go on excursions to the high-tech enterprises and institutions. The afternoon and evening time is dedicated to sports and other collective activities.

In 2016, the Summer Camp will be held from 22 to 26 August. It will comprise 18 thematic sections (delavnic), which are designed for various age groups of students from the 5th grade of a primary school to the third year students of a secondary school (the 11th grade according to the Ukrainian and Russian system of education — translator’s note).

Thematic sections of the Summer Camp for Innovative Technologies are designed for pupils of primary and secondary schools. The age groups are stated in the descriptions of each individual section (delavnice).

The Summer Camp for Innovative Technologies is included into the Catalogue of Compulsory Optional Courses for Schoolchildren in the 2015/2016 Academic Year (Katalog programov obveznih izbirnih vsebin za srednješolce v šolskem letu 2015/2016). Upon the completion of this event, the camp participants will receive a certificate of participation, which can be taken into account when evaluating the progress of compulsory optional courses attendance.
