Terme Olimia Resort Opens the Largest Wellness Centre for Family Recreation
On 29 May 2018, the Terme Olimia Resort opened a new wellness centre at a cost of more than 10 million euros. Acting Prime Minister of Slovenia Miro Cerar and Minister of Economy Zdravko Počivalšek participated in the opening ceremony of the new wellness centre.
Construction work was carried out in two stages and lasted more than a year. At the first stage, major repairs of swimming pools and adjoining premises were completed, and the Family Fun complex for family recreation was finished. The second stage included a major overhaul of the RELAX complex designed for fans of swimming and recreational activities. Today, Svet Svetn (a sauna complex) and Spa & Beauty Centre (for beauty and SPA procedures) are also at the disposal of the resort guests.
This investment project has become one of the largest tourism projects for the last decade. As the representatives of Terme Olimia stressed, this is the first wellness centre for family holidays in the country.
