Within the framework of the fair, the 19th national handicraft festival took place, in which certified craftsmen from all over the country participated. In addition to handicraft art, guests of the fair could get acquainted with the rich culinary offer and taste local dishes.

The event was attended not only by Slovenian producers, but also by their colleagues from Austria, Italy and Croatia. The fair of handicraft goods has a long tradition, which goes back to the 16th century. At that time, local craftsmen had a special privilege of holding weekly fairs with the permission of the emperor. In the current format, the fair has been held annually since 1976.
