The Bled Castle Sets a New Daily Attendance Record

In early June, a new daily attendance record was set at the Bled Castle—2,200 tourists.

These figures are comparable with the highest indicators in August 2016. In August, the number of visitors traditionally reaches its peak, and museum staff expects that after the last year’s tourist boom, this year the Bled Castle will host more than 0.5 million guests. Recreational opportunities of the castle are at the limit, so due to considerable excitement and queues, the administration introduced special security measures, but so far, it does not plan to limit the maximum number of tourists allowed.

Matjaž Završnik, the head of the Bleb Culture Institute, notes that now the tourist possibilities of the castle have reached its limit.
