The Slovenes have four points, the Austrians — two.
The Slovenian National Rugby team beat the Austrian team with a score of 38:23 during the European Nations Cup match in the 2C Group in Ljubljana.
The Slovenes dominated throughout the match and went for a break leading the score of 20:16, having taken two points in each half. In the first half, fortune smiled upon Zhig Burnik 10 minutes into the match and upon Tit Hochevar in the 25th minute. During the second half, Greg Miljush (44th minute) and Georg Shkofich (57th minute) strengthened the team success.
The Austrians took two points at the end of the first half. Mathias Hemetsberger reduced the score gap to 20:14, and Paul Grushka celebrated success in the 71st minute. Maximilian Navas set the final score of the meeting (38:23).
In the current 2C Group table, Slovenia took the second line. This week it will hold a decisive away match with the leader — the Luxembourg team. The Group winner will enter the next round of the tournament.
