The Faculty of Tourism of the University of Maribor Organizes the International Geofood Symposium

In the framework of the Geothermica project, the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Maribor, together with its partners, organizes the International Geofood Symposium on the use of geothermal energy in agriculture. The event will take place on Monday, 26 November 2018, in the conference centre of the Terme Čatež Hotel in Brežice. Working language: English.

In the course of the symposium, local and foreign experts will share their knowledge. Holland will be represented by the Maribor University’s partners – employees of the Wageningen University, one of the most prestigious agricultural universities in Europe, as well as the Dutch company LandIng Aquaculture, which develops the cutting edge technologies of aquaculture engineering. Iceland, the country where geothermal energy is the most focused on, will be presented by the ex-director of the National Energy Authority of Iceland and currently a teacher at the University of Iceland.
