The First 5-Star Hotel InterContinental to Be Launched in Ljubljana

It is located in the Bavarski dvor microdistrict. The owner is Delta Holding (Serbia). On 24 August, the hotel opens its doors for visitors two years after the start of its construction.

The first 5-star hotel (20 floors) in Ljubljana is the second tallest building in Slovenia and the tallest building in the centre of the capital. From a height of 83 metres, the hotel windows command a beautiful view of the Ljubljana Castle.

The hotel occupies an area of ​​approximately 23 thousand square metres. In addition to 165 rooms with 330 beds, the presidential suit, banquet halls, a restaurant for 200 visitors and a bar with an observation deck are at guests’ disposal. There is also a wellness centre with a swimming pool and a fitness room.

The Restavracija B restaurant will be open for everyone, not just for hotel guests. The menu is created by the Italian chef Alfredo Russo, who works in Turin as the chef of the Dolce Stil Novo restaurant (Michelin star).

The 19th floor will feature a presidential suite, the Club International and two conference rooms.

A night in the presidential suit will cost several thousand euros. The guests of this suit will enjoy a large living room with a fireplace, a bedroom, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi and a sauna.

On the 18th floor, there is a wellness centre with a swimming pool and a fitness room. Local visitors who bought long-term subscription can also use its services.

A cafe will work on the first floor at the reception desk. It will be open for everyone.

Construction of the hotel cost about 40 million euros. The InterContinental Hotel staff will involve 115 employees.
