According to the Minister, Russia is an important economic partner of Slovenia. In the first half of the year, the countries managed to increase economic cooperation by 26%. Karl Erjavec is confident that the exchange of teachers and students will also give an additional impetus to relations with the Russian Federation.

The Economics and Finance study programme is now available in Koper. Training is already underway. Several students are enrolled in the programme. Next year, they will be able to study in Moscow on an exchange basis. Tuition fee is 7,000 euros per year. In Koper, they assure that the joint economic foundation will provide scholarships to students.

The Lomonosov Moscow State University has several branches, mainly in the former Soviet republics, as well as in China and Iran. The university has a high reputation everywhere and, in terms of graduates employment, it ranks third in the world, after Stanford and Oxford.
