On Wednesday, 28 November 2018, at 6:00 p.m., the international traveling exhibition MoMoWo: 100 Works over 100 Years: European Women in Architecture and Design 1918–2018 will open in the Architecture House of Maribor. It will present the creative heritage of women architects and designers over the past 100 years – from the end of the First World War to the present time.
Visitors can view the exhibition in the context of an author, a country or time of work creation. Key milestones of history that determined the status of women in the society are presented in the form of a table. The event will separately present the cultural, social and political achievements of Slovene women. The exhibition is accompanied by a voluminous catalogue.
The exhibition in Maribor will work from 28 November 2018 through 31 January 2019. It has already been shown in 9 European cities – Oviedo (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), Grenoble (France), Eindhoven and Delft (both in Holland), Bratislava (Slovakia), Belgrade (Serbia), Torino (Italy) and the capital of Slovenia – Ljubljana.
