The International Summer School of Museology at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Primorska, 13–17 June 2016
The School is held at the premises of the Faculty of Humanities. It is carried out by the jury members of the Živa Award for the Best Slavic Museum. This award was established by the Forum of Slavic Cultures, together with the School organizer and its honorary patron as well as with the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO.
Target audience: students and museum employees.
Pricing policy: the School is free for students receiving the ECTS 3 and fee-based for employees (EUR 45 per week).
The staff of the Institute of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage takes part in the work of the School this year. The International Summer School of Museology involves 32 persons — two thirds of them are students and others are young professionals from museums.
They represent Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Serbia, and Slovenia (11 participants).
