The IPSC 2016 Contest: Announcement

The international IPSC (Internet Problem Solving) contest among students-programmers will start at 1:00 PM on Saturday, 18 June.

Teams, each consisting of three participants, will take part in the 18th consecutive electronic contest on programming, which takes place annually. Their task includes the solution of various problems, such as classical algorithmic issues, cryptographic issues, engineering issues, etc.

Anyone can participate in this contest.

This year, the UL Orehi team including Matej Aleksandrov, Nino Bashich and Tomazh Hocevar will present the University of Ljubljana. They gave a dare to all other Slovenian teams participating in the contest. Any participating team, which will be ahead of UL Orehi, is offered a bottle of beer as an award (for choice: pivoljub.si).

This year, 800 teams from around the world will take part in the international contest. The organizer of the contest is a group of enthusiasts led by Doctor Michal Forishek, a representative of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of the Komensky University (Bratislava, Slovakia).
