The Lonstroff Swiss Company to Build a Plant in Logatec

The representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology confirms that the company, being part of the Sumitomo Rubber Industries Group, will build an enterprise for the production of medical elastomers in Slovenia.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology Aleš Cantarutti says that the Swiss will revive the industrially backward region.

The investor has not yet signed an agreement with the Company for Managing Bank Claims (DUTB), which owns a land plot of more than 110 thousand square metres in the former KLI Logatec Plant. The Commission of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology has not yet decided on the amount of subvention. It is assumed that it will amount to 10–15% of the total investment project budget, which reaches 40 million euros.
