The Scholarship Contest for Students to Last until 6 November

It goes about five scholarships for studying in Slovenia and abroad allocated by the Municipality of Koper. They are available only for the following programmes: science, mathematics, computer science, engineering, manufacturing technology, construction, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, veterinary medicine, and health.

Academic achievements are one of the conditions for obtaining the municipal scholarship. Candidates should have an average grade for all subjects and passed exams at the level of 4.3 (for junior students) or 8.5 (for senior students). The level of material security of the student’s family is also a condition for receiving the scholarship. The average monthly gross income for one family member (for the previous year) should not exceed 1,600 euros.

For the thirteenth year in a row, the Municipality of Koper has been supporting talented students of the region. In the academic year of 2016/2017, 12 students received such scholarship.
